Giving a new meaning to the term “Headshot”.
Happened to be bored a while back, and ended up doodling in my sketchbook rather than making notes (which is why the doodle is in byro rather than pencil). Used Photoshop to colour it in (yet again).
Comparison of last year’s attempt of digitally enhancing (aka, colouring-in :3) one of my sketches. Well, I can safely say my skills have improved over the past year…

Testing out the difference between the Kodak ESP 5250 Scanner and the Canon PIXMA MP272 Scanner using one of my old doodles.
After going through several options with the Canon, I still prefer the quality of the Kodak scan… but the functionality of the Kodak scanner is a complete pisstake… WHY WON’T YOU JUST SELECT EVERYTHING IN THE SCANNER, INSTEAD OF TRYING TO DO IT ALL YOURSELF, YOU PIECE OF FUCKING SHIT - the manual option is equally as painful as the automatic option (but the manual input creates a better output).
SO, my verdict:
If you want a one-off quality picture: Kodak, even though I used Photoshop to sharpen it using the High Pass function - it still looked as good [pretty much], AND you can just adjust the settings in the scanner to sharpen it (I disabled it).
If you’re planning on scanning repeatedly, like, for instance, scanning hand-drawn animation frames: Canon… all the fuckin’ way.
[also, may colour this in later, weowoewoeoweowoeow]
How not to draw…
[a life-drawing of my hand]
It’s shit like this which kills the mood to draw.

Yet another Venetian Snares-influenced piece (the songs: Deep Dicking and Interstellar Narcotics) - don’t even ask what it’s about, because I have no fucking idea; it just… happened.
Attempted to colour it in - can’t really see the text like, but fuck it, who reads nowadays anyway?
